Service Checklists help your staff follow the correct steps before, during, or after a service and document that the required work was completed.
Creating a Service Checklist
- Open Service Checklists.
- Click Create Checklist in the top right corner.
- Select the Service for which you want to create the checklist.
Adding Tasks to a Checklist
After selecting a service, add the tasks your staff must complete and document while performing the service.
Each task can use one of four input types.
1. Boolean Input
A simple Yes/No input. Use it when a task only requires confirmation that something was completed or checked.
Example: "Did you inspect the equipment before starting?"
2. Text Input
Allows staff to enter written information or notes about the task.
Example: "Describe any issues found during the service."
3. Number Input
Allows staff to enter a numerical value related to the task.
Example: "How many rooms were serviced?"
4. Image Input
Allows staff to provide an image as documentation for the task.
Example: Take a photo of the completed work or an issue found at the service location.
Adding a Task
To add a task:
- Click Add Task.
- Select the input type.
- Complete the task details.
Each task includes the following fields:
- Task Title: Enter a clear name describing what the staff member needs to do.
- Required Task: Enable this option if the task must be completed. If disabled, the task is optional and will not be enforced by the system.
- Description / Notes: Add additional instructions or information for the staff member. This field is optional.
Repeat these steps until you have added all the tasks required for the service.
Saving the Checklist
After adding all tasks, click Save Checklist.
Your checklist is now attached to the selected service.
Using Checklists During Bookings
When a customer books a service that has a checklist, the assigned staff member will need to follow the checklist and document each task from the Bookings page.
The checklist helps ensure that important service steps are completed consistently and provides a record of the work performed.
