Payment gateways allow Booky AI to securely collect payments from your clients when they book your services.
Accessing Payment Gateways
- From the sidebar, click Payment Gateways.
Booky AI currently supports two payment gateways:
- Stripe: Accept credit and debit card payments through Stripe.
- Square: Accept payments through Square.
Connecting a Payment Gateway
- Choose Stripe or Square.
- Click Connect.
- Enter the required account credentials.
- Complete the connection process.
Once connected, the gateway will show a Connected status along with the connection date.
Setting a Default Payment Gateway
If you connect both Stripe and Square, you can select one as your Default payment gateway.
The default gateway is used by Booky AI when a payment needs to be collected from a client.
Example: A client books a service that requires payment. Booky AI generates the payment request using your selected default gateway, allowing the client to complete the payment online.
Managing Your Connections
The Payment Gateway page shows the connection status for each gateway.
- Connected: The gateway is successfully linked to your business.
- Not Connected: The gateway has not been linked yet.
You can connect either gateway based on the payment platform your business uses. If both are connected, make sure the correct gateway is selected as the default.
Important: You must have an account with Stripe or Square before connecting it to Booky AI. Booky AI connects to your existing payment account and does not create a payment account for you.
